Jacksonville shooting: Gunman wanted to kill Black people, sheriff says
Three people were killed in the shooting today at a Dollar General before the gunman killed himself, Sheriff T.K. Waters said. The identities of the three people killed — two males and one female — have not been publicly released. All three were Black, Waters said. The shooter traveled from Clay County, where he lived with his parents, to Jacksonville before carrying out the shooting, the sheriff said.
