SAN ANTONIO – North East Independent School District police officers repeatedly threw marijuana and other THC products confiscated from students into school dumpsters and trash cans, a months-long probe by KSAT Investigates found. The practice calls into question the handling of evidence from felony drug offenses as well as raises concerns that drugs and drug paraphernalia were at times put in areas accessible to the public, including children. The man who gunned down 11 worshippers at the Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue in 2018, the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history, will be sentenced to death. Marijuana edibles that contained too much THC have been recalled following a review from the state's cannabis regulatory agency. The edibles, which were branded as "The Weed Bar" failed to list that it was a marijuana product on the packaging, the CRA said in a release sent last week.
